Pacific Science Center
I got a 55mm f/3.5 pre-AI micro-nikkor from my Uncle John (thanks!), and thought I'd try it out on some butterflies at the Pacific Science Center. It's sort of like the Universeum (in Oslo), but crappier. Still, it's kind of fun. Probably more fun if you're 10.
Read MoreThe macro goes to a 1:1 reproduction ratio with an extension tube, but I didn't use it. It'd probably have been touching the butterflies at that point anyway.
UPDATE: We're putting all of our Pacific Science Center pictures here. I've since picked up a Tokina 100mm macro, which, in addition to giving me a bit more working distance, also meters. And mounts, on my D80 (which the Nikkor doesn't).

Actually, this isn't a butterfly. I just snapped it on the way to the Science Center.
